We led the disposition of the 835,000 SF Thomson Learning warehouse/distribution center in Independence, KY, to a Boca Raton, FL-based private investment group. The building occupies a 46.3-acre site in the Enterprise V Park in Boone County, Kentucky. The structure includes a 775,000 SF single-story warehouse with the 38’ ceiling height required to accommodate high-tech racking systems and lift trucks. Thomson also occupies a high-end 60,000 SF office within the facility. At 1,200 feet long and 600 feet wide, it is easily divisible into segments that can be leased to multiple tenants as distribution operations, call centers and light assembly plants.
