A luxury residential development in Vail, CO, the Landmark wanted a dramatic makeover and to increase its footprint. Our creative plan was to build over the existing structure. Over the next 3 years, our construction team worked to obtain ownership and governmental approvals; secure air-rights entitlements over the existing property to enlarge the 35-year-old building; and facilitate contact between the numerous contractors, the Landmark board, the community and the residential brokerage team. After the preliminary work proved successful, Landmark chose the firm to act as the project’s developer and general contractor. The Landmark plans include re-cladding the existing seven-story residential tower with stone; reconfiguring the roof line; adding a three-story, 17-unit addition above the existing townhouses; constructing new underground parking; and creating a new building entrance. The luxury property is located on the pedestrian mall, just 100 yards from the world-famous Eagle Bahn Gondola.
